Israel vs ‘Palestine’: don’t forget the truth

The Swedish Foreign Minister, Margot Wallstrom, is upset with Israel (Elad Benari, “Swedish Radio Hints Jews Responsible for Anti-Semitism”, Arutz Sheva, February 18, 2015). She accuses Israel of ‘irritating its allies’ (ibid). Apparently, she’s fed up with Israel’s negative reactions to her country’s recognition of ‘Palestine’ (ibid). She feels that the way Israel has been talking about Sweden since that recognition is “unacceptable” (ibid).

Really?

Her irritation is unacceptable. Her country has recognized an entity which brazenly promotes the destruction and the conquest of Israel. Why should Israel speak kindly of such aggression? She should join all civilized people to denounce ‘Palestine’, not recognize it.

Let’s put the truth on the table here: that Swedish vote for a ‘Palestinian’ state wasn’t a vote for freedom. It was a vote to destroy the Jewish state.  We know that from the ‘Palestinians’—and from Sweden itself.

Look at a picture. You may have seen this picture before. You should look at it often. It’s a picture that tells the truth about a vote for ‘Palestine’.

This is a picture of a plaque picturing the proposed state of ‘Palestine’:    http://www.haberisvec.com/upload/resimler/haber/1240345_653767898065114_5766660737384619255_n(4).jpg

The woman in this picture is Hillevi Larssona. She is a Swedish Parliament Member who had been instrumental in successfully convincing the Swedish Parliament, in October, 2014, to recognize ‘Palestine’ as a ‘state’ (“Sweden Recognizes 'Palestine' as a State”, Arutz Sheva, October 4, 2014). Palestinian officials were so pleased with her efforts they honoured her with the plaque pictured above—along with a sample ‘Palestinian’ flag’ (“Sweden approves borders of ‘Palestine’ with Israel erased”, Times of Israel, December 3, 2014).

You can see she is happy to hold her gift. She appears pleased to have helped the ‘Palestinian Cause’.

Here’s the truth: the outline of this ‘Palestine’ on that plaque is exactly and precisely the same outline as today’s Israel. Even taking into account changes created by graphic design, the outlines of today’s Israel and this ‘Palestinian’ plaque are identical.

Think about what that means. The new ‘Palestine’, as envisioned by the ‘Palestinian Cause’--and as portrayed by the plaque above--doesn’t sit “side-by-side” with Israel. It isn’t “contiguous” with Israel. It isn’t a neighbour of Israel.

It replaces Israel.

That’s conquest. It means that the creation of the state of ‘Palestine’ assumes the destruction of Israel. It means that Israel will, by the creation of this ‘Palestine’, be wiped off the face of the earth.

That smiling face you see doesn’t just support a new state. It supports the destruction of the Jewish state. It supports the creation of Israel’s replacement. It supports removing what is Jewish in the Middle East and replacing it with that which is Arab and Muslim.

It supports the wiping  out of Israel altogether.

The Swedish Foreign Minister finds it offensive that Israel objects to that idea. She finds that Israel ‘irritates’ its allies by refusing to accept that idea.

What do you call such a person?

You tell me.
